This is an Ink-and-wash of a barn near Plainfield. Watercolor is really transparent, and the wash for the sky is a bleeding effect that really struck me when it happened.

It has taken me a while, but I finally got-up the nerve to post my art that I have produced over the past 10 years. Am a culinarian by trade, but have found a passion for paint mediums and ink.
I am a fan of many artists and many styles. To name a few, I would say that the Wyeth family has touched my radar the most. Edward Hopper, Charles Sheeler, the Ashcan School, Charles Demuth, Caspar Friedrich, Gustav Klimt, Howard Pyle, and Lautrec....
